New exams cannot be started while the system is closed for planned maintenance. However, unfinished exams with time remaining may be resumed and completed.
APMG comply with all relevant and current DPA laws within all countries of operation.
Under the rules of our accreditation by UKAS, APMG are obliged to hold a list of the candidate number, date of exam and candidate name for all successful candidates. If you pass the examination then this information will be added to our website, though other than this stated use, all personal data provided by you and details of your examination score will be held in confidence by APMG and will only be used to develop and improve its accredited training and examination processes. In no circumstances will APMG either sell or pass on contact details to a third party. The name and candidate number of successful candidates will be posted on the APMG website at www.apmg-international.com approximately 2-3 weeks after their release to training organisations and candidates. APMG will not be held liable should the website be incomplete. Please contact APMG should you think any records are incomplete.
Release by a training organisation of examination results to a candidate’s employer is a matter for agreement between the candidate and the training organisation concerned.
If you ticked the Data Protection box, APMG will only divulge exam results to the ATO who ran the associated training and will not enter your results on the website. Leaving the box unchecked gives APMG permission to enter the candidate on the public website, and to inform any third party of whether the candidate has passed the exam. If your preference changes at a later date, written confirmation must be received by APMG with a copy of your certificate giving APMG permission to change your preference. Please note there will be an administration charge for any such changes.
The ATO will be allowed access to the information submitted in order to be able to contact the candidate in relation to their examination.
APMG will invite all successful candidates in the practitioner examination to complete a questionnaire on the web after their result has been released to help us improve our service.
The APM Group Ltd will award Certification as a Registered Practitioner to candidates who:
At a minimum of three, maximum of five, years after initial certification, Registered Intermediate & Practitioners are required to sit and pass the Re-registration Examination in order to retain certification. The Re-registration Examination is to a similar standard as the Intermediate & Practitioner Examination but is shorter, and is available electronically and in paper format.
APMG operates a formal appeals process should a candidate believe that their results are not correct. Appeals must be made in writing and the candidate must ensure that they have sufficient grounds to make an appeal. The decision of the Examination Appeals Panel will be final. All appeals must be submitted in writing (with the support of the ATO if applicable) within 12 months of the date of the examination.
Extenuating circumstances during the examination, e.g. unacceptable noise outside the examination room can, if supported by the invigilator concerned, be cited as grounds for appeal against an adverse examination result. If you wish other extenuating circumstances, such as sickness, to be taken into account these should be made known to the invigilator at the start of the examination. Appeals will not be considered if extenuating circumstances such as noise and sickness are not reported to the invigilator at the time of the examination.
If the examinations are taken through an ATO
Appeals will be processed via your ATO who should be contacted for further information. An appeal against an examination result will only be considered if supported by the ATO who provided training in advance of the examination.
If the examinations are taken at an open centre
Appeals will be processed via APMG who should be contacted for further information. In the absence of extenuating circumstances listed in the section above, an appeal against an examination result will only be considered if supported by The APM Group Ltd.
The APM Group Ltd requires all Registered Practitioners to keep a record of complaints made against them within the scope of their certificate of competence. Such complaints are to be notified to The APM Group Ltd. The record of complaints will be subject to audit at the time of Re-registration Examination. Such complaints about a Registered Practitioner if received by The APM Group Ltd in the absence of notification by the Registered Practitioner concerned may result in suspension or withdrawal of certification.
